Watching Over the Earth

Pam and Tony Barich, owners of the Whistling Kite Vineyard since 1976, have a firm belief that Biodynamic agriculture is our path to a sustainable and healthy future.

With a family history of Asthma and Sulphur allergies we chose to use organic practices in our vineyard, to ensure a clean environment for our family. After attending a few Biodynamic workshops we started to apply the preparations and witnessing the changes in the vineyard, we now make a lots of our own teas and preparations. We still attend workshops there is always something to learn, Biodynamics has become a life style.

We are pleased to have been able to create a vineyard that radiates a sense of peace and serenity.  A welcoming home for many native animals and bird life, whose energy enhances the amazing views of the River Valley.
