Our Whistling Kite Our Wines

2010 is the first vintage for the Whistling Kite Label, we have produced grapes for over 30 years and on sold them to Wineries in the Barossa, McLaren Vale and the Riverland. Some of this fruit has produced award winning wine. We have always strived to produce a premium quality product to try and showcase the potential of the Riverland.

Friends and associates have encouraged us over the past few years to produce our own Biodynamic Wine, they want to be able to source a wine and be able to connect with the producer to follow the integrity of that wine.

In culmination of over 10 years of Organic & Biodynamic management the vineyard truly imprints its own signature on the wines being produced. The vines are grown with Biodynamic preparations and teas, which has created a balanced and harmonious ecosystem, supporting healthy vines able to express the vital nature of the soil, environment and microclimate (terrior) through the production of truly unique wine.

The grapes for our Biodynamic Label are hand picked and Basket pressed,  then allowed to develop with minimal intervention.

Milk and egg products are not used in the majority of our wines.

Tasting notes on our wines are available under “Available Vintages”.

You can purchase our wines in our online store.
